This is more than just a retail job — we are creating a neighborhood butcher shop experience centered around quality meats, prepared foods, hospitality, and community connection. We're looking for part-time team members who bring positive energy, reliability, and a strong work ethic to help us deliver an outstanding customer experience every day. Position Summary Part-Time Team Members support the day-to-day operations of the store by assisting customers, preparing products, stocking displays, maintaining cleanliness, and helping create a welcoming environment. This role is ideal for someone who: Enjoys working with people Loves food and cooking Thrives in a fast-paced environment Is okay working with raw meat Wants flexible part-time work with growth potential No butcher experience is required — we can train the right personality and attitude. ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional attitude Help customers with product selection and recommendations Package and prepare customer orders Operate the register and handle transactions accurately Help create an inviting and upbeat store atmosphere Store Operations Stock and rotate products Maintain clean and organized displays, counters, and work areas Assist with prepared foods and light food prep Help with opening, closing, and daily cleaning procedures Support the meat counter and leadership team as needed Teamwork Work collaboratively with managers and coworkers Maintain a positive attitude during busy periods Follow company standards for professionalism, cleanliness, and food safety Qualifications Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Strong customer service and communication skills Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds Flexible availability including weekends and holidays preferred Preferred (But Not Required) Restaurant, hospitality, grocery, or retail experience Interest in cooking, grilling, smoking, or food culture Food safety knowledge or certification What We're Looking For We are building a team culture focused on: Positive attitudes Reliability Hospitality Accountability Pride in quality work Strong customer connections We want people who genuinely enjoy helping customers and being part of a team environment.
