Hourly Flexible Scheduling Education/Experience:
Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience. MUST have good English and Spanish communication skills. MUST have great product knowledge regarding hispanic meat cuts and marinades. Job Skill Requirements Strong time management skills. Able to meet performance expectations. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask and prioritize. Strong problem solving and decision making skills Well-versed in workplace health and safety practices. Familiar with tools and equipment for meat cutting.
Job Responsibilities Daily Operations:
Manage merchandise ordering, inventory control, and product display to maintain quality, freshness, and proper stock levels (FIFO practices). Execute promotional activities to drive sales and meet business objectives. Conduct regular quality checks during receiving and storage, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Maintain sanitation standards for cases, prep areas, coolers, and storage areas.
Merchandising and Customer Service:
Maintain full, clean, and properly signed service cases and displays. Monitor product quality and remove unsellable or out-of-code merchandise. Deliver exceptional customer service by building rapport, handling inquiries or complaints professionally, and fostering a welcoming environment. Fulfill any additional responsibilities as assigned by superiors, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the department.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing and walking (up to 8 hours per shift). Frequent use of hands for cutting, grasping, and fine manipulation. Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Puesto Operaciones Diarias:
Gestionar pedidos de mercancía, control de inventario y exhibición de productos para mantener la calidad, frescura y niveles adecuados de inventario (prácticas FIFO). Ejecutar actividades promocionales para impulsar las ventas y cumplir con los objetivos comerciales. Realizar controles regulares de calidad durante la recepción y almacenamiento, asegurando el cumplimiento de las normas de seguridad alimentaria. Cliente:
Mantener vitrinas y exhibiciones de servicio completas, limpias y debidamente etiquetadas. Monitorear la calidad del producto y retirar mercancía no apta para la venta o vencida. Brindar un servicio al cliente excepcional mediante la creación de buenas relaciones, manejando consultas o quejas de manera profesional y fomentando un ambiente acogedor. Cumplir con cualquier responsabilidad adicional asignada por los supervisores, contribuyendo a la eficiencia y éxito general del departamento. Requisitos Físicos: Permanecer de pie y caminar frecuentemente (hasta 8 horas por turno). Uso frecuente de las manos para cortar, agarrar y realizar manipulaciones finas. Flexionarse, girar, ponerse en cuclillas y estirarse frecuentemente. Capacidad para levantar y cargar hasta 50 libras regularmente.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
