May 20, 2026 Save 45 people viewed Required Years of Experience 2 years Job Details Chef Thomas Keller's Surfside destination, The Surf Club Restaurant, is seeking talented individuals who are enthusiastic about food, beverage and hospitality to join the culinary brigade as a Receiver. Located within the Four Seasons Hotel at the iconic Surf Club, Chef Keller's restaurant honors the location's history of good times and grand parties with classic Continental cuisine for a modern audience. Like the swinging patrons of the '50s and '60s hotspots this restaurant celebrates, The Surf Club Restaurant knows how to have fun. Qualified individuals should possess great attention to detail, organization and cleanliness. In addition to technical skills of a minimum of 2 years of experience, the individual must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to be a team collaborator.
You will be responsible for:
  • Sourcing new product and vendors within restaurant standards and consistent with restaurant needs.
  • Maintaining and verifying vendor pricing and ensuring optimal product value.
  • Monitoring pricing levels and identify pricing fluctuations. Keep the Chef de Cuisine informed of current and future pricing.
  • Verifying the incoming product for desired weight, quality and appearance standards set for the by the Chef de Cuisine, General Manger and Sommelier.
  • Coordinate third party deliveries and returns with food and beverage purveyors.
  • In conjunction with the Chef de Cuisine and sous Chefs, oversee, supervise, and schedule porters.
Physical requirements:
able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 75 lbs. Able to work in a standing position for long period of time (up to 12 hours). Chef Keller's collection of restaurants is founded on a culture of mentorship and provides a solid foundation of skills to support the culinary profession.
