Duties Carefully cut, trim, and prepare meat products using knife skills and meat cutting techniques to meet quality standards. Wrap and package meat items securely for storage or sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cut room area, adhering to strict food safety protocols. Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies or quality concerns. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including portioning and preparing meat for cooking or display. Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations to prevent contamination or spoilage. Experience Prior experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen environments is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of food handling safety standards within the food industry or restaurant settings. Strong knife skills and experience with meat cutting techniques are essential for success in this role. Familiarity with packaging processes, labeling requirements, and inventory management is a plus.
