In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meats and ingredients for our kitchen operations, ensuring all food safety standards are met. Your expertise in food handling, knife skills, and culinary preparation will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills in food preparation and kitchen operations will shine. Duties Prepare cuts of meat and other ingredients according to specified recipes and standards Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients needed for daily specials and dishes Maintain cleanliness and organization of the butcher prep area, adhering to food safety protocols Handle food products safely, including proper storage, labeling, and rotation of supplies Support the culinary team by assisting with meal preparation, cooking, and plating as needed Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety guidelines Collaborate with kitchen staff to streamline prep processes and improve efficiency during busy service times Skills Extensive experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles preferred Strong knife skills and proficiency in meat cutting techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking techniques Background in food service, restaurant, or culinary environments with kitchen experience Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality standards Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation to support a cohesive kitchen environment Join us to bring your culinary expertise to life!
