In this role, you will be responsible for expertly preparing, cutting, and packaging a variety of meats to meet quality standards and customer expectations. Your expertise will ensure that all meat products are handled safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail, contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food handling and culinary arts to showcase their knife skills and meat cutting proficiency in a fast-paced environment. Duties Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meats using professional knife skills and meat cutting techniques Ensure all meat products are stored, handled, and processed in accordance with food safety standards and regulations Package meat products securely for retail display or wholesale distribution, maintaining presentation quality Assist with food preparation tasks in the kitchen, supporting overall food production activities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about meat cuts and product recommendations Follow all food industry safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure product freshness Skills Proven experience in food handling, meat cutting, or as a butcher within the food industry or restaurant environment Strong knife skills with precision in meat trimming and portioning Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures Experience with food preparation and packaging techniques in a commercial setting Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively about products Familiarity with kitchen operations, culinary practices, and food industry standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us and bring your passion for culinary excellence into a role that values craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
