Duties Prepare and cut meat products using proper knife skills and meat cutting techniques to ensure quality and consistency Package meat items efficiently while maintaining food safety and hygiene standards Assist customers by providing knowledgeable advice on meat selections, cooking tips, and portion sizes Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and storage areas in compliance with food safety regulations Restock display cases with fresh meat products, ensuring attractive presentation to maximize sales Follow all food handling procedures diligently to prevent contamination or spoilage Support the team in food production and preparation tasks as needed during busy periods Skills Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen environments with a focus on meat handling Strong knife skills and expertise in meat cutting techniques for various types of meats Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously Experience in packaging, labeling, and maintaining product freshness for retail or restaurant settings Familiarity with culinary practices gained through restaurant or culinary experience is highly desirable Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Meat Associate and become an integral part of delivering quality products that delight our customers!
