Job Description

Company Description Smoke on The Water is a new craft BBQ experience opening in the spring of 2026 in Salisbury, MA. The design is fast-casual friendly service serving up some of the best scratch side dishes, desserts, and smoked meats with a central Texas BBQ inspiration. The restaurant will have a serving line that will allow customers to select their scratch side dishes and the staff will slice their smoked meats in front of them by the pound. Guests will enjoy their food family style in our welcoming dining space that includes a full service bar and indoor and outdoor dining areas. Guests will also be invited to view our all wood smokers built in Texas in our adjacent smokehouse and enjoy samples of our smoked meats. Job Summary As part of our Meat Cutter/Cashier team you will ensure our guests receive the finest cuts of meats and showcase our smoking methods on every shift. You'll be of service to our guests engaging them with genuine hospitality, and support the team wherever needed. If you're a detail orientated and team focused, this role is for you. Responsibilities Able to bring positive energy to the team. Has a genuine passion for the guest experience. Slicing and preparing/plating all of our meats for customers. Will be engaging with each customer on the meat selection and specials. Takes pride in the ability to connect with guests. Greet our guests with a genuine smile, engages them, and cuts/presents the finest smoked meats in MA! Be part of a winning team culuture where everyone must contribute at the highest levels . Hospitality focused, high level of engagement with guests and teammates. Experience Previous experience in food production, food preparation, or a related culinary setting is preferred Hands-on kitchen experience or restaurant background is highly desirable Strong knife skills and expertise in meat cutting techniques are essential, but not necessary. We will train you! Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is required
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
