Job Description

The meat counter is one of the centerpieces of Stapli — and marinated, ready-for-the-grill meats are one of our hero products. We're looking for an experienced Meat Cutter who can portion clean cuts all day, keep the cooler organized, and hand off raw cuts to our Deli team for marination. This is a hands-on, back-of-house role for someone who treats food safety as second nature and takes pride in the look of the case. What you'll do Cut, trim, and portion pre-broken (case-ready) cuts using saws, knives, and grinders. Produce in-house sausages and value-added meat products (grinding, stuffing, seasoning). Hand off prepared raw cuts to the Deli team for marination, seasoning, and packaging. Receive incoming meat deliveries — check dates, weights, temperatures, and quality on arrival.
Manage the meat cooler:
rotate stock, track inventory, pull anything past date. Keep the meat case clean, organized, full, and visually strong throughout the day. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature-control standards. Step out to the counter when a customer needs a custom cut or has a question. What we're looking for Prior butcher or meat-cutting experience required. Comfortable on meat saws, grinders, slicers, and knives. Working knowledge of common cuts, handling, and food safety standards. Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods. Clean, organized, detail-oriented, and dependable. ServSafe or equivalent food handler certification a plus. Schedule & Compensation Morning-leaning shifts to keep the case stocked through the day. Weekend availability required.
Compensation:
$18-$22 per hour, based on experience. We offer dental insurance, a real seat at the table during the most exciting stage of a new business, and a clear growth path as Stapli scales. How to Apply Apply through Indeed or send a resume to shukur@stapli.net. Interviews will be conducted by Shukur Alhasani, President, and the Stapli leadership team.
