Butcher Job Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a Meat Cutter. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing meats for sale and customer orders by performing a variety of tasks related to cutting, trimming, packaging, and maintaining product quality. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities:

Cut, trim, and prepare meats according to company standards and customer specifications Package and label meat products for display and sale Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of meats to maintain freshness and quality Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area in compliance with health standards Provide friendly and professional customer service when needed Follow food safety guidelines and company procedures at all times

Qualifications:

Strong knife skills or a willingness to learn meat-cutting techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while paying close attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Previous experience in a butcher shop or meat department is required #HSS2
