Objective:
To provide excellent product and excellent service.
Essential Function:
Expert ability to produce all cuts of meat to achieve or exceed budget projections in gross profit, sales, supplies, and labor percent in a sanitary, pleasing atmosphere. Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary dept. Stocking and rotating product in a timely, appropriate manner. Efficient handling of product to meet the demands of the customers. Servicing customers in a timely, friendly manner. Requires standing, bending and heavy lifting. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Basic Functions:
1) Follow directives of Meat Manager and Store Director. 2) Provide the best product and service possible. 3) Maintain a friendly, professional attitude. 4) Abide by Company policies and procedures. 5) Follow Company Safety Standards.
Specific Skills:
1) Expert ability to produce all cuts of meat. 2) Rotation of product. 3) Customer and associate relations. 4) Meet or exceed all production standards. 5) Assist in all phases of production as needed.
Machinery/Equipment:
Safe usage, proper storage and cleaning of: Tenderizers, Bone Scraper, Power Saw, Meat Slicer, Grinder, Wrapper, Power Washer, Knives, Scales, Cleaning Agents, Sink, Mixer, Power Jack, Hand Jack, Trash Compactor, Cardboard Baler, Forklift, Computer. Must know proper cleaning and sharpening of all blades.
