Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Manager to join our team of small family owned supermarket chain. As a Meat Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the meat department, including food preparation, production, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. If you have a passion for culinary arts, excellent customer service skills, and extensive knowledge and experience of the meat industry in a supermarket setting, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the meat department
• Ensure proper food preparation and production techniques are followed
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for meat products as needed
• Oversee the receiving and storage of meat products
• Train and supervise meat department staff
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and guidelines
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their meat selections and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
• posess skills to take our Meat Dept to another level

Experience:

• Must have previous experience of Meat Manager in a supermarket setting
• Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and industry standards
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and guidelines
• Excellent knife skills and ability to handle various types of meats
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
