We are excited to begin our hiring process for Mt. Pleasant, with a Grand Opening date tentatively June 2026. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will expertly cut, trim, debone, and prepare a variety of meats while maintaining exceptional quality, safety, and customer service standards. This role requires precision, strong product knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment Duties Cut & prepare meats — Cut, trim, debone, tie, and grind beef, pork, and other meats according to specifications. Operate equipment — Safely use knives, grinders, and slicers; maintain and sharpen tools. Inspect & receive products — Receive, inspect, and store meat shipments to ensure quality and freshness. Package & label — Weigh, package, label, and price meats for retail display. Customer service — Assist customers with inquiries, provide recommendations, and fulfill special orders. Maintain sanitation — Clean and disinfect work areas, equipment, and utensils; follow all food‑safety regulations. Inventory & display — Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and maintain attractive product displays Requirements Proven experience in food production or as a Meat Cutter is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Meat Manager Experience preferred but not required Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Excellent knife skills with the ability to operate cutting equipment safely. Familiarity with kitchen environments and restaurant operations is an asset. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
