Responsibilities:

• Cut, trim, and prepare meat products according to company standards and customer specifications
• Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery, ensuring proper handling and storage
• Operate and maintain meat cutting equipment and tools in a safe and sanitary manner
• Weigh, wrap, and label meat products for retail and wholesale distribution
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering product recommendations
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to health, safety, and quality assurance

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in meat cutting, butchery, or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of meat types, cuts, and preparation techniques
• Ability to use knives, saws, and other cutting tools safely and efficiently
• Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy products and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
