Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Meat Cutter, where you'll play a vital role in preparing high-quality meat products for our customers. This energetic position involves expertly cutting, trimming, and packaging meat to ensure freshness, safety, and presentation standards are met. Your culinary skills and food handling expertise will contribute to delivering an exceptional shopping experience, while maintaining strict food safety protocols. Responsibilities Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications and safety guidelines Package meat products efficiently while ensuring proper labeling and presentation Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the meat department to comply with food safety regulations Assist customers with their selections, answer questions about different cuts, and provide excellent service Follow all food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure product freshness Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of low supplies or quality issues Collaborate with team members to uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen environments, preferably within the food industry or restaurant settings Strong knife skills and expertise in meat cutting techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Prior experience with packaging and labeling meat products is a plus Culinary experience or previous kitchen experience is highly desirable Join us to bring your culinary talents to life in a vibrant environment where quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are our top priorities!
