The ideal candidate will possess both a strong background in culinary arts and a passion for execution of service and sanitation standards. They will be an energizing and engaging leader of a team of professionals committed to success. Working under and collaborating with Executive Chef Kadeen Qasim El, the successful candidate will exhibit ownership of all aspects of daily operations they are responsible for. An even, positive, and mature demeaner with a pro-active, ready-for-work attitude are a must. Responsibilities are but not limited to: Supervising kitchen staff to ensure productivity by assessing and adjusting work flow, delegating tasks, and utilizing our teams strengths. Assisting the Executive Chef in menu development and crew fresh sheet training. Ensuring that all food is stored, prepared, and cooked properly. Training kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques, recipes and standards as needed. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, and ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed. Monitoring food inventory and order supplies as needed. Mastering all stations and be willing and able to assist crew members in service execution hands on. Report and/or communicate any and all shift discrepancies or any others you become aware of to upper management in a timely fashion. Must possess a ServSafe Manager certificate. Must possess at least 3 years experience in a kitchen supervisory role/chef equivalent. Must be able to pay strong attention to detail and follow instructions and recipes concisely.
