Sous Chef

Safety, anticipating guest needs, honoring our surroundings and bringing your best every day are the core values we live by in order to provide dynamic guest service at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. As the Sous Chef, you will oversee, instruct and participate in the preparation of menu items for dining room service. You will work closely with the staff in an efficient, courteous and dedicated manner to ensure that the guest's expectations are met. You will have a range of duties in order to assist the wait staff including: Instruct Line Cooks and Prep Cooks in their duties Interface with service staff to provide excellent customer service Assist with training and education of service staff in menu content Supervise menu and shift change over Develop daily specials Free Meals & Lodging for the summer season!
