Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu development and food preparation to team management and food safety compliance. Your leadership will inspire creativity, uphold the highest standards of quality, and ensure seamless food service across all departments. Salary is based on experience with a starting range at but not limited to 55,000 a year. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and food service personnel, ensuring efficient shift management and team collaboration Develop innovative menus that align with brand standards and customer preferences, incorporating dietary considerations and catering needs Oversee food production processes, ensuring high-quality food handling, preparation, presentation, and serving in accordance with food safety regulations Manage inventory control and procurement to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs Coordinate banquet and catering operations, ensuring timely delivery of exceptional culinary experiences for events of various sizes Enforce strict adherence to health and safety standards, including proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices Monitor kitchen operations continuously to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate overall food quality Experience Proven experience in a supervisory role within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment with a focus on fine dining or high-volume food service Extensive culinary background with strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management Demonstrated success in menu planning, inventory management, and food production for diverse service settings including banquets and catering Prior experience managing teams in fast-paced environments with excellent leadership and communication skills Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations applicable to the food industry Familiarity with managing dietary departments or accommodating special dietary needs is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Join us as our Chef de Cuisine and bring your culinary vision to life!
