In this role, you will be responsible for creating beautiful baked goods and desserts, ensuring food safety standards are met, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry arts, food preparation, and kitchen experience, with a passion for baking and culinary innovation. Responsibilities Prepare and decorate cakes and pastries with attention to detail and creativity. Assist in packaging baked goods for retail or catering purposes, maintaining quality standards. Support food production processes by following recipes and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices. Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Participate in food preparation activities for catering events or restaurant service. Maintain knife skills and baking techniques through continuous learning and practice. Qualifications Previous experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts is highly preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Strong culinary skills with a focus on baking, cooking, and food presentation. Experience with packaging baked goods for retail or catering is a plus. Excellent customer service skills to engage with clients or guests when needed.
