Sushi Chef Mr. An's Teppan Steak Seafood and Sushi Tucson, AZ Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Sushi Japanese cuisine Seafood Staff training Food preparation Full Job Description We are looking to fill a Sushi Chef position here at Mr. Ans.
Some of the qualifications are:
  • Knowing the preparation of different cuts of fish.
  • How to properly cut different cuts of fish ( Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail etc.)
  • Minimum of 2 Yrs experience
  • Having your own knives is a plus.
  • Knowledge of sushi preparation techniques( Nigiri, Sashimi, etc.) Attention to detail is a big part of the position as well.
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine Other responsibilities include:
  • Preparing sushi, Managing food stock, training staff, and ensuring food quality and safety
