This position requires an individual passionate about Japanese cuisine and dedicated to creating high-quality, visually appealing sushi. You'll be responsible for preparing traditional sushi dishes, ensuring ingredient quality, and maintaining cleanliness in the sushi bar area. Duties Prepare sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri according to recipes and customer preferences. Maintain freshness and quality of all ingredients. Ensure the sushi bar is clean, organized, and stocked with essential items. Collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal specials and new menu items. Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations. Skills Proven experience as a Sushi Chef (3+ years preferred). Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, sushi preparation, and plating techniques. Excellent knife skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and team collaboration. Culinary school certification or equivalent training is a plus.
