If you love culinary creativity and fresh, local ingredients, this is a bit of a dream role. Operating exclusively for dinner five nights a week and are fully closed on Sundays and Mondays—offering a rare, awesome work-life balance for the industry. You'll work closely with ownership to keep things running smoothly, keeping the loyal "regular" clientele happy while bringing fresh, hyper-seasonal inspiration to the menu. Who We Are Looking For This is a true working chef's job. We need a leader who loves the energy of the line, cooks side-by-side with their crew, and keeps the kitchen rhythm flowing. The food centers on premium, hyper-seasonal ingredients with a heavy Italian influence, leaning into daily farmer's market finds. While creativity and a passion for scratch cooking are huge, you also need to be totally dialed into the systems, numbers, and details that keep a kitchen profitable. What You'll Do
Food & Menu:
Lead daily prep and dinner service, making sure every dish comes out consistent and beautiful. Mix up the menu with the seasons and source great local product daily.
Business:
Run the day-to-day BOH operations, including ordering, inventory, and keeping a tight grip on food and labor costs.
Crew:
Coach, train, and mentor a tight-knit kitchen team. We want a positive, disciplined kitchen where people actually enjoy coming to work. What You Bring to the Table
- Solid experience running a kitchen as an Executive Chef or a rockstar Sous Chef in a premium, scratch-cooking environment.
- Real financial know-how—you know how to manage food and labor costs without cutting corners on quality.
- A systems-oriented mindset when it comes to kitchen organization, cleanliness, and efficiency.
- Great leadership skills with a big focus on crew development and positive morale.
- An easygoing but professional communication style to partner up with ownership.
Offering:
Base salary up to $80K and a percentage of all private party sales
Compensation Details Compensation:
Salary ($75,000.00 - $85,000.00)
