This leadership role is responsible for maintaining consistency, food quality, kitchen efficiency, staff development, and operational excellence at all restaurant locations. The Executive Chef will work closely with management teams to ensure every guest receives the highest quality food and service experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about BBQ, thrives in high-volume environments, and has strong leadership experience managing multiple kitchens and teams. Responsibilities Oversee and support daily kitchen operations across multiple locations Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all menu items company-wide Lead, train, coach, and develop kitchen managers and BOH staff Create and maintain kitchen systems, procedures, and operational standards Monitor labor, food cost, waste, and inventory controls Ensure all locations comply with health, sanitation, and safety standards Manage ordering, vendor relationships, and product quality Conduct regular kitchen audits and performance evaluations Assist with menu development, recipe standardization, and seasonal specials Maintain efficient kitchen operations during high-volume service periods Collaborate with ownership and management to improve profitability and guest satisfaction Help build a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture Qualifications Minimum 5 years of Executive Chef or Multi-Unit Kitchen Management experience Strong BBQ and smoked meat experience preferred Proven experience managing high-volume restaurant kitchens Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience with food cost analysis, labor management, and inventory systems Ability to train and motivate teams across multiple locations Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays ServSafe Certification preferred Reliable transportation and ability to travel between locations Ideal Candidate We are looking for a driven and hands-on culinary leader who can maintain high standards across all locations while building strong kitchen teams and delivering exceptional BBQ experiences.
