Summary As a Executive Chef at DoubleTree by Hilton, you will play a vital role in crafting delightful culinary experiences for our guests. This position is essential in upholding our commitment to high standards of food quality and service, contributing significantly to the overall guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards. Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with health regulations, Hilton Q/A and Pizza Hut evaluations Manage kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to maintain a cohesive team environment. Collaborate with the catering team to create menus for special events and functions. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Implement food safety practices and maintain proper food storage procedures. Assist in menu planning and development based on seasonal ingredients and guest preferences. Engage with guests when necessary to enhance their dining experience. Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, banquet food production, food safety standards, and kitchen management. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff effectively. Creativity in menu planning and presentation of dishes is highly desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests. Experience in catering services is a plus but not mandatory.
