This role is ideal for a chef with strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience through thoughtful menu development and efficient kitchen management. Responsibilities Lead all back-of-house kitchen operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and efficiency. Develop seasonal menus, recipes, and food presentations aligned with the restaurant's vision and standards. Oversee recipe standardization, food costing, inventory control, and purchasing procedures. Collaborate closely with ownership and the General Manager to align kitchen operations with overall business goals. Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and handling regulations. Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and manage chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff. Foster a positive, professional, and high-performing kitchen culture. Direct and manage monthly inventory processes and maintain accurate reporting. Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships. Monitor kitchen equipment and coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance as needed. Manage kitchen labor and operational costs while maximizing efficiency and profitability. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts preferred. Minimum 3+ years of experience in a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or senior back-of-house management role. Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to lead calmly under pressure. Expertise in menu planning, recipe development, food preparation, and kitchen administration. Strong understanding of inventory systems, food costing, and restaurant financial operations. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Proven ability to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment. Passion for hospitality, mentorship, and creating an outstanding guest experience through food.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
