In this role, you will be responsible for crafting authentic sushi dishes and supporting overall kitchen operations to deliver an outstanding dining experience. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about Japanese cuisine, experienced in food preparation, and eager to work in a dynamic environment that values quality and creativity. Whether you're fine dining seasoned or have a background in the food industry, your culinary expertise will help elevate our offerings and delight our guests. Duties Prepare and assemble sushi using traditional techniques, ensuring high standards of presentation and freshness. Assist with general kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating of various menu items. Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards throughout all stages of food handling and storage. Support menu planning by contributing ideas for new sushi creations and seasonal dishes. Help with meal preparation for catering events or special functions, ensuring timely delivery and quality. Manage knife skills efficiently to cut ingredients precisely and safely for sushi rolls and other dishes. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen flow, excellent food service, and customer satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in sushi preparation, fine dining, or restaurant kitchens is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and proper sanitation practices. Excellent knife skills with precision in slicing fish, vegetables, and other ingredients. Experience in menu planning, food presentation, and culinary innovation. Background in the food industry with skills in cooking, food service, and meal preparation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
