Responsibilities Prepare and cook hibachi-style dishes on the grill, ensuring each plate meets quality standards and presentation expectations Execute menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency in flavor, portion size, and appearance Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and setting up cooking stations Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service during busy hours and special events like catering or private parties Monitor ingredient levels and communicate supply needs to ensure smooth kitchen operations Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service, preferably in a fine dining or hibachi-style setting Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques specific to hibachi grilling Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve guests efficiently Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for culinary arts is essential Embark on a flavorful journey with us where every day brings new opportunities to craft delicious dishes that delight our guests.
