Actively maintain a thorough knowledge of menus and kitchen functions. Responsible for the prep of ingredients to support menu specifications of assigned dishes. Including the stocking and setting up of their station with necessary supplies. Prepare food ensuring they cooked to the correct temperature and doneness. Responsible to follow all food safety and hygiene standards. Communicate effectively with the chef and other kitchen staff. Keep products clearly labeled, dated, and rotated. Identify ways to decrease waste and increase efficiency.
