Responsibilities Lead the kitchen team in preparing high-quality dishes that meet the restaurant's standards for presentation, taste, and safety. Develop innovative menus that showcase culinary creativity while considering dietary restrictions and seasonal ingredients. Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food production, inventory management, and food safety compliance. Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team. Oversee catering events, banquets, and special functions, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service. Maintain strict inventory control to minimize waste, optimize costs, and ensure the availability of necessary ingredients. Enforce health and safety regulations across all kitchen activities, promoting a culture of cleanliness and food handling excellence. Skills Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments. Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team. Knowledge of banquet operations, catering services, and large-scale food production. Expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management techniques. Strong understanding of food safety standards, dietary accommodations, and inventory control procedures. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage shifts efficiently while maintaining high standards of service quality. Familiarity with hospitality industry best practices including food service management, restaurant operations, and food handling procedures.
