Job Description

Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and management, with experience in fine dining, catering, and banquet services. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences through innovative menu planning and high-quality food production. You will join a team of kitchen staff, ensuring that all operations run smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Develop and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Manage inventory control to ensure proper stock levels and minimize waste. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of food handling and preparation. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment. Coordinate catering services for events, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals. Monitor food costs and assist in budget management for the culinary department. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership. Skills Proven experience in culinary roles within the food industry, including restaurant management or fine dining experience. Strong leadership skills with a focus on team management and shift management. Expertise in food production techniques, menu planning, and food service management. Knowledge of inventory management practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams. Experience in catering services is a plus, along with banquet experience. Proficiency in cooking techniques across various cuisines is highly desirable. Familiarity with bartending can enhance the overall dining experience offered to guests. Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
