Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is proficient in fish preparation, nigiri, and sashimi cutting, and can maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cut fish for sushi and sashimi, ensuring freshness and quality. Skillfully make nigiri, sashimi, and other sushi items according to recipes and presentation standards. Break down whole fish efficiently and safely. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi station and kitchen area. Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices. Assist in inventory management and stock rotation as needed. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sushi Chef.
Schedule:
5 days per week, Thursday -
Monday Shift:
4pm - 10:30pm Proficient in cutting, filleting, and preparing fish. Strong knowledge of sushi and sashimi preparation techniques. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
