$70,000+ per year (based on experience) About Golden Tadka Golden Tadka is seeking a passionate, experienced, and highly disciplined Head Indian Chef to lead our kitchen and bring authentic Indian flavors to life. This is a leadership role for someone who takes complete ownership of kitchen operations, thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional food and guest experiences. Key Responsibilities Take full ownership of all kitchen operations and daily food production. Prepare and oversee authentic Indian cuisine while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation. Develop new menu items and seasonal specials while preserving traditional Indian flavors. Lead, train, schedule, and motivate kitchen staff. Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards. Manage inventory, food costs, ordering, and waste control. Ensure efficient kitchen workflow during busy service hours. Uphold high standards of discipline, professionalism, and teamwork. Collaborate with management to enhance guest satisfaction and restaurant growth. Requirements Minimum 5+ years of experience in an Indian restaurant kitchen, with leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of North Indian cuisine, curries, breads, appetizers, and traditional cooking techniques. Experience with Tandoor cooking is a strong advantage. Proven ability to manage kitchen operations independently. Creative mindset with the ability to introduce innovative dishes and specials. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional food quality. Strong understanding of food safety and health regulations.
