Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Assistant Chef de Partie to join our culinary team for a specialized task force assignment scheduled from June 20th to July 2nd, 2026 . This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a fast-paced, high-quality environment. As a key player in our kitchen during the short period, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting exceptional dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the culinary department. Your passion for food, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively will drive the success of this temporary but impactful assignment. •Accomodation Provided •Meals at work location/meal credit (off days) provided Responsibilities (as an Assistant Pastry Chef) Assist the Executive Pastry Chef with daily pastry and baked goods production Execute plated desserts, breakfast pastries, breads, and banquet desserts to luxury standards Maintain consistency and quality across all pastry output Follow established recipes while contributing creative input when appropriate Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times Work efficiently in a fast-paced, boutique hotel kitchen environmentPrepare and cook menu items with precision, maintaining high standards of presentation and taste in Pastry. Assist in menu planning and execution, ensuring variety and quality across all dishes in Pastry. Follow strict food handling and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Support kitchen operations in Pastry Dept. by managing food prep stations, including knife skills and ingredient organization. Collaborate with team members and lead the team to deliver excellent food service in a fine dining or catering setting. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to sanitation standards at all times in Pastry. Contribute to the efficient flow of meal preparation and service during busy periods, supporting Pastry kitchen productivity. Experience Proven culinary experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within fine dining or catering settings. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices. Experience working in dietary departments or with dietary aide responsibilities is highly desirable. Skilled in menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling procedures. Demonstrated proficiency with knife skills and food presentation techniques. Previous restaurant experience that highlights your ability to thrive under pressure and deliver quality results consistently. Knowledge of the food industry standards for serving, catering, and kitchen operations is essential. Minimum 2-3 years of pastry experience in a hotel, resort, or fine dining setting Strong foundational pastry skill set (plated desserts, viennoiserie, chocolate work, etc.) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Flexible availability — including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred Must be available for the full contract period (June 21 - July 2) This role is perfect for passionate culinary professionals particularily in Pastry, eager to demonstrate their skills in a vibrant environment while contributing to an exceptional dining experience during this focused task force period.
