Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook / Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. You will work closely with the kitchen team to execute menu items efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish execution and ingredient selection. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Handle food with care, demonstrating excellent knife skills and proper food handling techniques. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods, supporting overall restaurant operations. Support catering events by preparing dishes in large quantities while maintaining quality standards. Ensure proper storage of ingredients, monitor inventory levels, and communicate supply needs to management. Experience Proven experience as a Line Cook or Chef de Partie in a reputable restaurant or fine dining establishment. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly. Previous experience working in the food industry with a focus on food safety and hygiene practices. Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Knowledge of menu planning, catering, and serving processes enhances your suitability for this role. Excellent knife skills, culinary experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional food service are essential.
