In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of traditional Thai dishes with precision and creativity. Your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences in both casual and fine dining settings, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents while leading and inspiring a dynamic kitchen team. Duties Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes, ensuring adherence to traditional recipes and presentation standards Lead food preparation activities, including ingredient selection, portioning, and cooking techniques Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on food handling, safety protocols, and culinary procedures Manage inventory control for ingredients and kitchen supplies to minimize waste and optimize costs Oversee food safety practices in compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen environment Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning, special event catering, and daily specials Monitor food quality during service, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate served Assist in training new team members on Thai cuisine techniques, food safety standards, and customer service expectations Experience Proven experience working as a Thai Chef or Cook in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment Demonstrated expertise in preparing a wide range of Thai dishes with authentic flavors Prior experience supervising kitchen staff and managing shift operations in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with banquet catering, fine dining standards, and dietary accommodations is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food production processes, inventory management, and kitchen management practices Experience in food service management, including menu planning, inventory control, and food safety compliance Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse culinary team Background in hospitality or restaurant management is advantageous for this role
