As a Teppanyaki Chef, you will bring excitement and artistry to the dining experience by preparing and cooking meals on a traditional teppanyaki grill. Your expertise in culinary techniques, food safety, and presentation will delight guests and elevate our restaurant's reputation for fine dining excellence. This role offers an energetic environment where your passion for food preparation, cooking, and exceptional service will shine. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes on the teppanyaki grill with precision and flair, ensuring each plate is visually appealing and flavorful Engage with guests through lively interactions, explaining cooking techniques, and creating an entertaining dining experience Follow all food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes or modifications based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences Maintain cleanliness of the grill area, utensils, and work stations throughout shifts to ensure hygiene standards are met Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation, ensuring timely service during busy hours Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of teppanyaki-style dishes with consistency and quality Qualifications Proven culinary experience with a focus on teppanyaki or similar cooking styles in fine dining or restaurant settings Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques essential for high-quality meal creation Experience working in the food industry, including restaurant or catering environments, is highly preferred Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices to ensure guest safety Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating attention to dietary restrictions and nutritional considerations Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and presentation standards Excellent communication skills for engaging with guests and team members effectively Join us to craft memorable dining moments through your culinary artistry!
