Teaching Full Job Description Position:
Chef Instructor Reports to:
Senior Executive Chef Instructor/Executive Chef Instructor Supervises:
All kitchen employees, students, volunteers, and guest chefs
Salary:
$ 56,000 - $60,000 negotiable Position Summary Oversee all aspects of daily culinary training of students
Responsibilities:
Manage kitchen staff and students to ensure food production and training occur effectively and simultaneously. Set standards for creating and maintaining high quality, consistent food items Follows student curriculum. Oversees all safety and sanitation procedures are followed. Actively participates in all food production and student training. Taking monthly inventory and providing inventory data entry Working with Case management to ensure student training and job search is the priority. Maintaining accurate and consistent nutritional value for menu items. Work occasional nights and weekends as required for special events and business needs Other tasks as required
Expectations:
The schedule may vary and will be determined by the senior executive chef instructor. Pass the
SERVSAFE
Manager Course(WO will provide training). Teach
SERVSAFE
food handlers course on an as needed basis. Adhere to Work Options's curriculum and ensure students are receiving daily training and support. Maintain the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and work ethic that represents Work Options. Ability to use the following programs- Excel, Word, Google Drive, Microsoft Office.
