Full Job Description Overview :
We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team in delivering exceptional Japanese cuisine. If you have a passion for creating exquisite sushi dishes and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we want to hear from you.Duties :
- Prepare a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri with precision and attention to detail
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate overall meal production
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi preparation area
- Assist in developing new sushi recipes and menu items
- Uphold food safety standards and practices
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or relevant role in a restaurant or catering environment
- Proficiency in knife skills for precise cutting and presentation of sushi dishes
- Strong knowledge of Japanese culinary techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen setting
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Certification from a culinary institute or sushi training program is a plus
Compensation, Benefits & Application Information Pay:
