Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa is seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for a dedicated culinary professional who thrives in a luxury resort environment and ismitted to delivering refined, seasonal, and thoughtfully executed pastries and desserts. The Pastry Chef de Partie is responsible for leading a designated station, maintaining exceptional food quality and consistency, and upholding the highest standards of Park Hyatt throughout every aspect of production and presentation. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee a designated pastry station, ensuring consistency, precision, and excellence in the preparation and presentation of desserts, pastries, breads, and specialty confections. Prepare and execute pastry items according to established recipes, production schedules, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. Support the training, development, and mentorship of Commis Chefs and culinary colleagues, fostering a collaborative, professional, and growth-oriented kitchen environment. Maintain the highest standards of product quality, freshness, creativity, and visual presentation across all pastry offerings. Ensure strict adnce to food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards, as well as Hyatt and local health department regulations. Assist with daily mise en place, inventory management, product rotation, and the proper storage and handling of ingredients. Collaborate with the Pastry Chef and culinary leadership team on menu execution, seasonal offerings, special events, weddings, and holiday programming. Support pastry production for restaurants, banquets, in-room dining, and resort-wide events in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment. Monitor workstationanization, cleanliness, and operational efficiency while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Consistently uphold Park Hyatt'smitment to luxury, craftsmanship, and exceptional guest experiences through every aspect of pastry production. The pay for this position is $25
  • $28/hour.
Actual pay will bemensurate with experience.   • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional pastry experience in a luxury hotel, resort, fine dining restaurant, bakery, or high-volume culinary environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a pastry station independently, with a strong focus onanization, consistency, and execution.
  • Formal culinary or pastry education preferred; equivalentbination of training and professional experience will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of classic and modern cooking techniques
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining exceptional quality and attention to detail.
  • Excellentmunication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
