Max Hospitality Group Responsibilities:
Support the Executive Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations, including prep, service, and staffing Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure high performance, food safety, and quality standards Help create and execute seasonal menus and daily specials in line with Max a Mia's culinary vision Oversee food preparation and plating, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to recipes Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and cost control practices Ensure kitchen cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all health and safety regulations Communicate with front-of-house managers and staff to ensure smooth and coordinated service Troubleshoot service issues as they arise, maintaining focus on guest satisfaction
What We're Looking For Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a kitchen leadership role, preferably in a full-service or fine dining environment Strong understanding of Italian cuisine, wood-fired cooking, and seasonal menu planning Experience managing kitchen operations, staff supervision, and adherence to food safety protocols Familiarity with ordering, inventory management, and product rotation Previous experience in high-volume kitchens and working with scratch-made recipes
Skills and Qualities:
