Sous Chef

Wintonbury Hill Golf Course, located in Bloomfield, CT, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time seasonal Sous Chef! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast paced hospitality-focused property organization. Position Summary:

Seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support kitchen operations and maintain high food quality and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting the Executive Chef Preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards Ensuring food safety, quality, presentation and consistency Assisting with prep work including chopping, portioning, and ingredient preparation Communicating effectively with kitchen team during service Maintaining cleanliness of workstation and kitchen equipment Assisting with receiving, storage, and inventory rotation as needed.

Qualifications:

2 years prior experience as a Sous Chef Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation standards Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen equipment/product Team oriented attitude with strong work ethic

Pay:
