Job Description

We are a breakfast, lunch and dinner bistro looking for an experienced chef to join our team. When possible we work with local organic farms, and also utilize our own vegetable and herb garden located on our premises. Spring-fall our menu changes regularly with what becomes available at our local farms, and there is plenty of room for creativity. A Managers Food Handling Safety Certification is a required. We will provide educational compensation for the managers certification for the right candidate. Must have knowledge and experience with food handling and safety. Minimum 2 years line cook experience in a fast paced environment, but the more experience the better. Formal training is a plus but not necessary. Expected to prep your station every week and work dinner service on the line. You will be expected to work any and all of the following stations: saute, grill, and pizza/dessert/apps. Must have reliable transportation and be available weekends and holidays. This is a full time or part time position. Various shifts are available during breakfast/lunch and dinner You will be expected to help keep kitchen organized and clean, including sweeping, mopping, deep cleans, equipment maintenance, etc. Must be hard-working passionate about food and self-motivated.
