Chef we are looking for? Joseph Family Markets is a local family-owned company that operates as the ShopRite of Canton. We are driven by our company philosophy and our purpose: to care deeply about people, helping them to eat well and be happy. We are looking for an experienced and creative Full Time Chef that fits our company culture! The position consists of customer service, hot bar menu creation, financials of the department's hot foods bar, food prep, overseeing department shrink, code and temperature checking, and all work dealing with the Prepared Foods department. Schedule varies, 40-48 hours per week.The position requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Chef experience
- Must be able to stand, bend, twist, reach, climb, squat, push, pull, and regularly lift & carry 50+ lbs
- Outstanding customer service
- Available 8 hour shifts, 5am-midnight availability
- Weekend availability required
- Must be able to work within store coolers, freezers, in and out of cold temperatures
- Must be able to work with fryer, oven, and with all food allergens
