You will play a vital part in crafting visually stunning and flavorful cold plates that delight our guests and uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble cold dishes, including salads, appetizers, charcuterie boards, and garnishes with precision and creativity Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry station to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with food safety standards Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative cold dish ideas that align with seasonal ingredients and restaurant themes Handle food preparation tasks such as slicing, portioning, marinating, and plating to ensure consistency and presentation excellence Support kitchen operations during service hours by ensuring timely delivery of prepared items to the dining area Follow all food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination Collaborate with culinary team members to develop new recipes and improve existing cold dish offerings Requirements Proven experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable Strong background in culinary arts with specific experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments Demonstrated skills in food preparation, knife handling, meal assembly, and food safety practices Knowledge of menu planning, catering, and food service operations within the food industry Excellent food handling techniques coupled with a passion for creative presentation and flavor pairing Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail during busy service hours Prior kitchen experience involving food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and sanitation Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
