Wa Sushi is looking for a skilled and reliable Sushi Chef to join our team. We are a well-established Japanese restaurant focused on quality ingredients, clean execution, and consistent standards. Responsibilities Prepare sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and specialty rolls with consistency and precision Maintain high standards of knife work, fish handling, and presentation Ensure freshness and proper storage of seafood and ingredients Follow restaurant recipes and plating standards Maintain a clean and organized sushi station Work efficiently during busy service periods Communicate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service Assist with daily prep and inventory when needed Requirements Experience as a Sushi Chef or Sushi Cook Strong knowledge of fish handling and sushi preparation Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment Strong work ethic and attention to detail Professional attitude and team mindset Must be reliable and punctual Preferred Qualifications Experience in a Japanese restaurant Ability to break down whole fish Knowledge of traditional sushi techniques Passion for Japanese cuisine What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Stable and respectful work environment Opportunity to grow with an established restaurant Consistent schedule Location Wa Sushi Casselberry How to Apply Apply through Indeed or visit the restaurant to introduce yourself and bring your resume.
