In this role, you will be the centerpiece of our dining experience, showcasing your culinary artistry and entertaining guests with your expert cooking techniques. Your passion for food preparation, attention to detail, and ability to deliver exceptional service will create memorable moments for our patrons. As a Hibachi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a lively, engaging environment that celebrates fine dining and authentic Japanese cuisine. Responsibilities Prepare and cook hibachi-style dishes with precision, flair, and efficiency, ensuring each plate meets our high standards of presentation and taste Engage guests with lively cooking demonstrations, creating an energetic and memorable dining experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hibachi station, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and seasonal specials that excite our guests Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients with excellent knife skills Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during meal preparation and service to uphold safety standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal timing and ensure smooth service flow during busy hours Experience Proven culinary experience in a fine dining or restaurant setting, preferably with hibachi or Japanese cuisine expertise Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety practices Experience working in the food industry with a focus on catering or large-scale meal service is highly desirable Demonstrated proficiency in menu planning and meal preparation that highlights creativity and consistency Familiarity with dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus Excellent knife skills and knowledge of food safety regulations are essential for success in this role Prior kitchen or restaurant experience that showcases your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Join us to bring your culinary talents to life in an energetic setting where passion for food meets exceptional guest service.
