Full Job Description Position Overview:

We are looking for an Assistant Pastry Chef to support and lead daily production operations. This role is hands-on and requires strong organization, leadership, and attention to detail to ensure product quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in leading and managing the daily pastry & gelato production team Supervise staff and ensure proper workflow and productivity Maintain consistent product quality and presentation standards Follow and enforce all recipes, protocols, and food safety standards Manage inventory levels , including ordering and tracking ingredients Coordinate and schedule production based on orders and demand Oversee order fulfillment and accuracy Support training and development of team members Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production environment

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Pastry Chef, Assistant Pastry Chef, or similar role Strong knowledge of pastry production and/or frozen desserts (gelato experience is a plus) Leadership experience managing a team in a kitchen or production setting Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Flexible schedule.

Pay:

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour
