You will make a difference in the lives of residents by assisting the Chef to oversee culinary operations. This includes support in menu planning, food preparation, safety and sanitation. The culinary team enhances Legend's Gold Leaf Dining experience, which sets a high standard for atmosphere and food quality. Responsibilities- Sous Chef Assisting the Chef in menu planning, food preparation, inventory, documentation and scheduling Preparing food in accordance with the planned menu, noting changes when applicable Ensuring all cooking, serving, storage, preparation, and service areas are clean , safe and organized to meet all applicable food service standards and regulations Monitoring quality food service in accordance with Legend's Gold Leaf Dining standards Leading the kitchen environment in the absence of the Chef Bonus opportunities- Sous Chef Employee referrals Employee of the month/year Resident tour (move-in) Why we should be your "home away from home" Work environment: Our focus is to maximize the potential of every life we touch.
