In this vital role, you will support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, supervising culinary staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment Lead food preparation and cooking activities, maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste Support menu planning and development in collaboration with the Head Chef, incorporating seasonal ingredients and dietary considerations Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures at all times Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes Monitor shift management activities to optimize efficiency and service quality Requirements Proven experience in fine dining establishments with strong culinary skills in food production and presentation Supervising experience within a busy kitchen or hospitality environment Background in banquet service, catering, or large-scale food events is highly desirable Knowledge of dietary requirements and food safety standards (HACCP certification preferred) Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent team management skills Strong understanding of inventory management, cost control, and food handling procedures Skilled in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management techniques Experience in restaurant management or food service management roles is advantageous Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us!
