Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Sushi Chef and bring authentic Japanese cuisine to life with skill, creativity, and passion! In this role, you will craft exquisite sushi dishes that delight our guests and elevate their dining experience. Your expertise in sushi preparation, attention to detail, and dedication to quality will be the cornerstone of our restaurant's success. Duties Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food hygiene in all kitchen areas Develop innovative sushi recipes and presentation techniques to keep menus fresh and exciting Manage ingredient inventory, ensure proper storage, and minimize waste Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of orders and exceptional service Train junior staff on sushi techniques, knife skills, and presentation standards Uphold all food safety regulations and company policies at all times Experience Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role specializing in Japanese cuisine Strong knowledge of sushi ingredients, techniques, and presentation styles Experience with curriculum development or teaching culinary skills is a plus Familiarity with kitchen management, inventory control, and food safety protocols Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Background in culinary arts or related certifications preferred Passion for continuous learning about new sushi trends, ingredients, and culinary innovations Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills will shine!
